I've been reading about the so-called World Summit in Johannesburg lately. Thabo Mbeki, the president of South Africa said, "We do not accept that human society should be constructed on the basis of a savage principle of the survival of the fittest."

DUH!?

I can't believe that these people are just starting to say these things in the midst of one of the biggest famines in African history, in the middle of one of the biggest fiscal crises in modern times and with the most volatile and environmentally catastrophic industrial state that we have ever seen.

I do trust people over thirty. At least social movements have gotten past their ageist beginnings in the 1960s and 70s. But what are these people talking about? Once again, Amerikkka won't budge on anything at all that involves limiting its own industrial output. Hands-down, Amerikkka is the biggest rogue state in the world today, and quite honestly if you live there, you should expect violence. U.S. foreign policy ALONE has put the current world political situation in the precarious state it's in. If there's anything that is more logical than retaliation, I'm not sure what it is.

AHHHH! I have however, just cooked the most delicious somen (cold noodles) I've ever made... the sauce was strong wasabi, spring onions and a little bit of wakame (seaweed) mixed with some ponzu (black citrus-like soyish sauce).
